  • 2cups sugar
  • 1 3/4cups all-purposè flour
  • 3/4cups cocoa powdèr unswèètènèd
  • 2tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp baking powdèr
  • 1tsp salt
  • 2èggs
  • 1cup buttèrmilk
  • 1cup coffèè coolèd
  • 1/2cup vègètablè oil
  • 2tsp vanilla
  • Homèmadè chèrry piè filling or 121 oz can chèrry piè filling
  • 1/2sèmi-swèèt baking chocolatè bar shavèd

Frosting:

  • 2 1/4cups hèavy crèam
  • 1 1/2block crèam chèèsè room tèmp
  • 2 1/4cup powdèrèd sugar
  • 1 1/2tsp vanilla

Instructions

  1. Prèhèat ovèn to 350.
  2. Linè 2 9″ round cakè pans with parchmènt papèr and spray thè èdgès with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Mix togèthèr in largè bowl with hand mixèr (or stand mixèr) sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powdèr and salt until combinèd.
